E5: Find More Time For Your Art...!
This is the Fifth Episode of the Visual Scholar Podcast - With Tim Mcburnie.
In this episode, we discuss how to find more time for your art. Or more importantly... how to find more focus for your art.
This discussion follows on from Episode 4, where we discussed the concept of the Artistic Ritual as it relates to productivity as an Artist.
This episode focuses on Time, which is one of the most important tactical elements when it comes to creating your Ritual.
There are many aspects to time which are key. How we focus and use flow to maximize our productivity and artistic ability while creating is key. As is the idea of biorhythms.
Circadian, Ultradian, and Infradian rhythms are important to understand, as they all affect our ability to focus and get the most out of our time.
It's also important to appreciate that more is not always better... One of the key components to focus and productivity is to master the art of relaxation and rest.
These ideas of following your natural rhythms and building the muscle of focus can really help to get the most our of your time creating art!
The next episode will discuss how the concepts of space and physical surroundings can be used to build your Artistic Ritual.
This Podcast is designed to help you demystify the world of Art, Productivity, and Creativity. So you can get better faster, and enjoy your Art Journey.
We discuss Drawing, Painting, Illustration and Entertainment Design. Along with Productivity and Career Advice.
